Pentax K-50 and K-500 e-book.

Email: brqyvn@gmail.com

 Hi Photographer friends,

The new Pentax K-50 and K-500 will be shipping in the next few weeks. These two DSLRs will be the best entry level cameras on the market. I am currently writing another e-book covering these two cameras. It should be available about the same time as the cameras hit the market.

If you already own a Pentax DSLR, check our other e-books for the Pentax series of cameras. Samples of each e-book is available before you purchase.

Do you have any problems with the accuracy of the Auto-focus on some of your lenses? You can also download my front/back Auto-focus adjustment charts for free.

Thank you for stopping by,

I am thinking that the new K-50 and K-500 Pentax DSLRs are worthy of a new e-book.

 Hi Photographer friends,

I am thinking that the new K-50 and K-500 Pentax DSLRs are worthy of a new e-book. Since there are so little differences between the two, except things like color and water resistance, I will be able to include both cameras in one e-book.

I believe Pentax will sell a lot of these entry-level DSLRs because they are introduced at a very low price. As usual, a little while after introductions, the prices of both cameras will go down.

These two cameras will produce images nearly as good as the more expensive K-5 series. That said, I envision that Pentax will be releasing a new flagship camera very soon, that will surpass the K-5 series. Who knows, it might be the long awaited "Full Frame" DSLR we all dreamed about.

So...I expect being able to write a new e-book within the next Month to a Month and one half. It all depends how quick I can get my hand on one.

Thanks for reading and let me know if you think these two new cameras are worthy of a new e-book, here, on my email, Facebook and Twitter.

There must be some truth to the rumors about the Pentax K-50, K-500 and Q-7.

 Hi Photographer friends,

There must be some truth to the rumors about the Pentax K-50, K-500 and Q7.

More details on Pentax Forums.

I hope it is  true,  and that even more cameras will be announced. We should get a replacement for the K-5 series soon. I want to write more e-books for the Pentax Digital Cameras.

Off topic for a Pentax blog, but worth viewing. Nicki Bluhm - Video

Email: brqyvn@gmail.com

Hi Photographer friends

This post is a little off topic, but I think you will like it. When I was a young man, I used to play in a rock band. I played lead guitar and was also the lead singer. We had big ideas of super stars...but that never happened. I had a lot of fun anyway...and I got the girls.

I stumbled upon the following video and I was immediately mesmerized by what I saw. The band is Nicky Bluhm and the Gramblers.  As the story goes, they are a small group from San Francisco and as they traveled to their next gig, they recorded music videos, first with their iPhone, just to pass time. It looks like the newest videos were made with one or several Go Pro cameras. The results are amazing. Nicky has a pure sounding voice that is refreshing. The group as a whole are very good and I particularly like the harmony and the lead guitarist.

After looking at their website, http://www.nickibluhm.com , I discovered many other videos but better yet, I found their touring agenda and they are actually going to play near where I live in August in a small town called "Pioneer Town", California. I already bought tickets for me and my wife. I don't believe they are going to do the small venue tours for long. The story appeared on CBS News This Morning, and that seems to have propelled their career to a new level. CBS News This MorningMay 31, 2013

Thank you to all my Pentax followers and blog readers. This week I reached two million visitors since I started this blog over six years ago.

Email: brqyvn@gmail.com

 Hi Photographer friends,

It's hard to believe, but I will have been hosting this site for seven years this July. It's a relatively small site compared to the mega sites such as Pentaxforums and DPReview, but I love the interaction, the emails I get and the friendship I made through they years.

People from all over the world are tuning in. The image below represents the visitors for the last 12 hours.

It's always interesting to see the number of people following the blog from their local time. Europe, Asia and Africa log in while I sleep and as I awake, I see more people tuning in from the North and South America.

Thank you two millions times,

Yvon Bourque
