Hi Pentaxian friends.
Mr. Bunnell has formed a team of superstars, all working at the Golden, Colorado office. Notably helpful members of the team are, not necessarily in order of importance, Michelle Martin, who is the PR & Events Manager for Pentax USA. She is the person that more people contact at Pentax, and she has the great personality that such a position requires. She even has her email posted with all Pentax Press releases. John Carlson, Product Manager and maybe an higher title by now, has several videos on YouTube introducing Pentax DSLRs and also has a presence on DPReview and PentaxForums. You can be sure that his comments on the forums are official, and correct. Chris Pound, currently Product Manager under John Carlson, (I think that's right), can be seen at all Events and also hosts the new Video on YouTube introducing the new K-7. What a great job he did. You can't help but like Chris' extroverted personality.
Pentax currently feature four photographers as part of the Pentaxian.com site. I met "The Inspirationalist" - Marc Dimalanta, "The Naturalist" - Julie Quarry, and the "Die Hard" - Kerrick James. All three are excellent photographers and great people. The K-7 might allow any of us to produce a bio with the HD video similarly to their bios on the Pentaxians site. I posted my interview with Makc a while back and I will post my interview with Julie sometime soon, I promise.
There are many more great members to the Pentax team, but the above are the people I had the opportunity to meet.
That said, don't miss the current article on Ned Bunnell's blog, all about the K-7 video capabilities.

The ending P.S is very unfortunate, it seems like one of those cases where a functioning union is really called for.
Gizmodo covered the Canon story yesterday. The comments are very ignorant.
Frankly, this has this flavour of an urban legend, or a photo taken out of context.
