If you already own a K10D or K200D or K20D, you probably won't need this DSLR. However if you currently shoot with a point & shoot, this will be the ideal upgrade to DSLR. The help menu is very user friendly. It could also be a great camera for travel since it's so small and light weight. Imagine it with the Pentax Limited 21mm, 35mm, 70mm. What a great traveling package.Regards,

1st and foremost: great site and good articles. Really enjoy reading them.
As for the K-m aka K2000 (I think Pentax do have another SLR called KM during the 35mm film era if not mistaken), is a good and logical step from Pentax. I would go for it if I have not own a K200D, as a step-up from a bridge DC.
