Hi Pentaxian friends.

I finally received enough information from Pentax to write an e-book about the newest Pentax DSLR, the K-x. There are a lot of functions similar to the K-7 and some of the K-7 e-book can be recycled. I have a very good feeling about this new K-x, because it uses a Sony 12.4 megapixel CMOS sensor. The image quality will likely be very good at high ISO. I believe that it will surpass the K20D and K-7 at high ISO.

I haven't had a chance to shoot with the camera much, but as I write the e-book, I will also be testing the K-x. I will report my findings.

In the meantime, you can get e-books for the K10D, K100D, K20D and the K-7 on this blogsite. You can print the e-books on your own computer/printer for your own use, however, a "copyright" watermark will appear on each page. My prices are ridiculously low, but that makes copying my books for resale non-profitable.

Thank you for visiting,

Yvon Bourque

Yvon, please give it your best efforts on the k-x as that will cover the potential masses new users for Pentax and I wish you the best and the warmest with the K-x eBook as that is a big step in helping beginners in enjoying the Pentax. Your ebook and your diligent work in your blog are much appreciated by your readers.

Have you ordered a K-x Yvon?

Pentax have managed to get very good IQ out of Sony sensors in the past, so I wouldn't be too surprised if the K-x outperforms the K-7 at high ISO.

Miserere,

I did order the K-x and I am on the waiting list. I ordered a navy blue model, (my wife's decision) I managed to get the manual early and I am using it to partially write the e-book. As soon as I get the camera in my hands, then I will be able to test all the features myself and complete the e-book. I am certain that the IQ will be better than the K20D and K-7. Sony makes better sensors and the 12.4 MP is better suited for APS-C.

Hin Man,

Thank you for your kind words. I think you are right about the K-x. Many beginners and point&shoot users will get this camera. All of my e-books are better suited for beginners and advanced amateurs. If I can get just one person to become passiionate about photography, I'm good with that.

Moorby,

If you paid $5.00 for the Ebook, it should have downloaded the full book. I cannot give you specifics on how to download the ebook on this blogsite for security reasons, but email me at brqyvn@aol.com with the PayPal purchase number and I will fix it immediately.
