(April 6, 2011)…PENTAX Imaging Company announced today it joined the team of popular outdoor gear manufacturers sponsoring the 11th annual Backpacker Magazine Get Out More Tour—an interactive mobile media and education tour—designed to inspire readers and encourage participation in active outdoor pursuits.
Backpacker’s Get Out More Road Team, starring Sheri and Randy Propster, will visit specialty outdoor retailers and festivals in almost 70 cities in 30 states to promote the active outdoor lifestyle and teach practical outdoor skills.

At each retail stop, the Get Out More Team will host a 75-minute seminar on trip planning, choosing the right outdoor gear and apparel, safety in the outdoors and much more.
