With my Pictures of the Day, I am going back to my early P&S as well as scanned pictures from 35mm and medium format. Of course, I do have about 15,000 pictures taken with Pentax DSLRs. I have enough photos to last me a while, and I will be taking more. It is so muvh work to get my pictures on Pentax Photo Gallery, that I decided to have my own. Maybe, if I get enough requests, I will make a Pentax DSLRs gallery with your photos, you the readers.
Yvon, this certainly shows that you have to be at the right place at the right time to get a great photo...but only if you also have the right photographer behind the camera! :-D
This is one of my favourite shots from your portfolio. Ironic that it came from a P&S, huh?
The Afgan girl picture was taken by Steve McCurry in December of 1984. That is probably one of the most recognize picture the world has ever seen. Thanks for your comment, Javier. I can only dream that any of my picture could make it out in the world. Then again, I'm just glad to live in an era with so much photographic opportunities and technical possibilities.

This is really a great photo. You could not plan that. It reminds me of the photo of the afgan girl with the green eyes. You know the one?
