Great review, and more than deserved, only one funny thing I noticed. The build quality has become less from the K-7 to the K-5.

Just look at the results and compare with the K-7.

Only to say that a review (how good and professional it may seem) is always biased.

Concerning build quality, I must admit that I have the same impression when I compare K-x to K-r: K-x seems to me the better, more solid build, and even though its smaller its better in my hands. K-r feels in my hands more like a ... Canon (well, not that bad, though ;-).

I am still unsure whether I should upgrade from K-x to K-r ...

Cheers, Eriol

Eriol,
I wouldn't upgrade from the K-x to the K-r. It's the same sensor and there are not not enough differencebetween the two. When the prices come down a little, if you want to upgrade, get the K-5. It looks like the K-7 but it's a totally new camera.

rhermans,

I totally agree with you. It's exactly the same body with new electronics.Someone at DPReview did not compare the two enough. The e-dial is taller, The focus selection button and the RAW/Fx buttonare the only changes on the external body.
