Your photographic rights taken away on the pretext of safety. OMG this is so wrong.

 Hi Photographer friends,

I believe this is border insanity. Homeland security are using the Boston tragedy to usurp our rights. The terrorists groups are winning. Our way of life and rights are being taken away in the name of security. Thus far, I haven't heard of anyone killed by a camera. In fact, the Boston terrorists were captured because there were so many pictures taken. Does any of this makes sense to you?

I hope that a group is formed by all major camera makers to have a petition signed by the people to stop this insanity. "We the people" are supposed to have constitutional rights.

Churchill Downs, the racetrack that hosts the famous horse race, has unveiled new security measures that will prevent attendees from bringing certain items onto the grounds. Among them: all interchangeable lens cameras.

In addition to interchangeable lens cameras (e.g. DSLRs, mirrorless cameras), the guidelines also prohibit any camera that has a lens longer than 6 inches, tripods, and camcorders
